Flute Choirs

Asked in November 2024 by the French Flute Orchestra (OFF) to perform a concert based on their opera fantasies, Laëtitia Brault and Jean-Christophe Maltot have created a completely new program, combining several of their operatic fantasies with orchestral preludes and interludes from the lyric repertoire. The program, arranged in its entirety by Jean-Christophe Maltot is presented to the audience on May 18, 2025, at the Maubeuge Conservatory, France. It includes the works listed below:

Jean-Christophe was keen to bring the sound of the flute orchestra as close as possible to that of a symphony orchestra. This is why he placed particular emphasis on the middle and lower voices. The total ensemble includes 4 flute parts, 2 G-flute parts, 2 bass-flute parts, and 1 octo-bass flute part.
